HANDMADE EXPLANATION

  • Knife outlines are either ground to shape or cut by a waterjet. I then grind the bevels and all other features, heat treat and finish each knife by hand. Each knife is unique and follows the general design parameters listed on the site, and no two are exactly the same. I strive to put out the best product I can and will never intentionally allow a defective product to leave our shop. There may be minor imperfections on your handmade knife. Blemishes, uneven grind lines, wavy lines, tool markings, and etc are only surface blemishes and will not affect the performance of your knife. If an imperfection is present, it is not to be considered as a "manufacturer's defect".

  • KNIFE DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATE AND MAY VARY SLIGHTLY.

  • Handle materials, hardware and liner colors are subject to change.

WARRANTY

I am happy to warranty my knives to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year to the original owner. This period is meant to address any flaws not able to be known from observation such as defects in steel quality, handle quality etc. After the 1 year period, I will attempt to address any dissatisfaction or issue with a knife with the most economical solution. I stand behind the quality of my work and the processes I follow, and will make every attempt to ensure customers are satisfied with the tools they receive from me for as long as I am able to perform the task. Only knives purchased directly from Legacy Blades are eligible.

I WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY WORK ON ABUSED KNIVES

Examples of abuse include:
- Rusting due to negligence/exposure to the elements
- Extreme use/testing (throwing, batoning, prying, torture testing etc).
- Using the knife as a prybar, hammer, axe, screwdriver, pick, shovel or any other unintended use it is not designed for. Knives are tools and should be utilized in the manner they are intended for. There is a right tool for the right job and a knife is not always it.
